Motorman Costa

Responsibilities:

1. Use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for chemical products and general cleaning tasks, as instructed.
2. Perform assigned tasks such as cleaning, material handling, and support under the direction of the Watch Team Leader.
3. Familiarize oneself with all emergency systems onboard, including safety escape routes and procedures for fire incidents and watertight door operations.
4. Report any fuel, oil, or air leaks to the Engineer on watch and assist with initial interventions for machinery malfunctions.
5. Assist Motorman with maintenance tasks on diesel generators or main engines during overtime hours, as requested.
6. Maintain engine watch in accordance with company standards and regulations.
7. Stay updated on procedures and regulations relevant to daily tasks and report any issues related to environmental, safety, and security to the supervisor.
8. Support and promote a healthy and safe environment onboard by strictly adhering to HESS regulations and reporting any violations to the Head of Department.
