Experience / Qualifications:
- Advanced refrigeration certificate desirable
- Experience working within the refrigeration industry required
- F-gas Certification
- Good command of written and spoken English
Ship Systems and Equipment Maintenance:
- Maintain ships refrigeration and ventilation systems and equipment, following servicing and maintenance routines as directed
- Safely isolate specific systems or equipment for servicing and maintenance as directed
- Ensure efficient operation of relevant systems and equipment through preventative maintenance and prompt response to reported faults
- Keep ventilation-related machinery spaces clean and safe
- Undertake additional duties as requested by Supervisor
Trade Skills:
- Perform refrigeration and/or ventilation tasks efficiently and effectively
- Follow instructions and plans for repairs
- Ensure repairs are of high quality
Tech Safety Skills:
- Safely use appropriate tools for the required tasks
- Ensure Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is complete and in good condition at all times
