Equipment Maintenance and Operations:
Conducts quality repairs on carpentry-based items promptly and in accordance with directives from the reporting officer.
Addresses assigned defect chits promptly and ensures repairs meet the highest standards.
Constructs carpentry projects efficiently, utilizing both rough and finishing carpentry techniques as directed.
Maintains cleanliness, tidiness, and organization of the Carpenter’s Workshop at all times.
Collaborates with the Carpenter to ensure timely ordering of necessary back-up materials.
Staff Development and Management:
- Willingly participates in training and orientation for new Carpenters and Assistant Carpenters joining the vessel.
