1st Engineer Maintenance

- Perform maintenance on engine equipment that cannot be conducted by the watchkeeping team due to Engine Room Resource Management, with support from the Maintenance and Workshop Technician under the guidance of the Staff Engineer.
- Ensure compliance with Engine Room Resource Management standards set by the company.
- Maintain open and effective communication with all relevant stakeholders and provide regular reports.
- Attend the daily engine officer’s morning meeting to coordinate activities and address any issues.
- Enforce HESS-MS regulations within the assigned area of responsibility and provide or delegate relevant training as necessary.
- Ensure accurate and timely entries in logbooks in accordance with legislation and company requirements.
- Adhere to requirements of the Quality Management System (QMS) and Learning Management System (LMS).
- Plan, evaluate, and supervise dry docks and external repair/service activities.
- Support and promote an effective and sustainable health and safety culture onboard, strictly following HESS regulations and any Health and Safety Protocols, and report any observed violations to the Head of Department.
