Ensure compliance with company and corporate standards while taking over and carrying out watch duties.
Familiarize oneself with all safety systems onboard, including fire suppression systems, emergency bilge pumps, and manual operation procedures.
Perform maintenance and checks according to Planned Maintenance System (PMS) guidelines under the supervision of the Senior Engineer on watch.
Stay updated on the latest safety, company, and environmental regulations and adhere to them diligently.
Report any relevant changes or information to the Senior Engineer on watch promptly.
Execute responsibilities outlined in Annex 1 “Resort Distribution” and follow Chief Engineer’s standing orders and instructions from their deputy.
Promote and maintain a culture of health and safety onboard, strictly following HESS regulations and protocols to prevent the spread of diseases, and report any violations to the Head of Department
