- Assume responsibility for the watch, adhering to company and corporate standards for operations.
- Familiarize oneself with all safety systems onboard, including the Hi-Fog System, fire system, sprinklers, emergency bilge, and other emergency plants, ensuring readiness for manual operation in case of automatic system malfunction.
- Perform maintenance and checks according to Planned Maintenance System (PMS) protocols for designated tasks and update PMS records accordingly.
- Stay updated on the latest safety, company, and environmental regulations, and ensure compliance with them.
- Fulfill responsibilities and duties outlined in Annex 1 “Resort Distribution” and follow instructions from the Chief Engineer and their deputy.
- Support an effective and sustainable health and safety culture onboard, strictly adhering to Health, Environment, Safety, and Security (HESS) regulations, and report any observed violations to the Head of Department.
